Betty Pierce was born on August 12, 1933 in Harviell, MO. She was the daughter to William and Lessie (nee York) Coonce. She died on June 19, 2021 at the age of 87.
Betty is survived by her husband of 68 years, Claude Pierce, of De Soto; son, LArry Pierce of Bismark, MO; two daughters-in-law, Cheryl Pierce of Festus and Sharon Pierce of Herculaneum, MO; sister, Lettie (Bud) Tyner of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Tonia Pierce West, Lindsay (the late Brandon) Thomas, Adam (Lindsey) Pierce, Kali Pierce, and Tyler Pierce; great grandchildren, Mason West, Tristan Pierce, Alysa Thomas and Rory Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Ronald Pierce and Michael Pierce; two sisters, Helen Gunnett and Ellen Schrameyer, and three brothers, Carl Coonce, Willie Coonce, and Willard Coonce.
Betty and her husband, Claude owned and operated the Sky Vue In and Melba Theater in De Soto.
