Toni, So very sorry to hear about your Mom. I know just how hard it is to lose that person as we are never too old to need our Mom's. You may rest easier knowing what a wonderful daughter you were to her as I remember how hard it was on you when she was losing her eyesight. May God give you strength during this difficult time. Please let us know if we can do anything.

My Dear Wonderful Aunt Betty, I very sadly said "Good-Bye" to you today; and, I hope, only for now. You made up a big part of who I am, and that part of you will never leave me. I so thank you for this my Aunt Betty, and oh so much more. You always have, and always will, hold only a very most special place in my life. Your sweet wit and charm would brighten the darkest of days. They will always comfort me with a warm smile. You brought such joy to my life as well as many, many others. I will forever be proud, and never, never forget you my Aunt Betty. Oh; how I will so miss you. My Dear Wonderful Aunt Betty. I love you. Rest Peacefully. Anthony

There are so many wonderful memories of times with Aunt Betty! Her smile, her laugh, her hugs, and of course, her chcolate chip cookies! Growing up in DeSoto and surrounded by loving family we all gathered for holidays, summer bar-b-ques, and often just dropped by to say hi. Aunt Betty always embraced me and life in general with open arms. I hope that Steve and Toni find peace and comfort in memories.

Betty's daughter, Toni, is a good friend, and I met Betty on several occasions. What a lovely family - who truly cared about people. You could tell that Betty loved life - and passed that on to Toni. My thoughts are with the family.

Steve, Toni, and Families, We were very sad to hear of your great loss. We both have so many fond memories of your Mother. She was such a beautiful woman. We moved to DeSoto when I was 10 years old, and your Mom was my Sunday school teacher. I thought--wow--she is so pretty,so soft-spoken, and sweet. In recent years before her illness she would send us birthday cards---how sweet and thoughtful she was. As her eyesight began to fail, she would sometimes call the house, and ask me to look up a number for her. Pete helped her out whenever she came to the Post Office. Your Mom will be greatly missed by so many people. I apologize in advance that we will be unable to attend the memorial service for your Mom. We extend our deepest, and most sincere sympathy to each of you. We pray that all the loving memories you have of your mother will sustain you, and give you peace and comfort always. Love, Pete & Donna

Toni, I felt I needed to come back and leave another message to tell you that when I was young, I always thought your mother was the most beautiful woman in the world. Whenever I saw her as an adult, the times I was back home, my thoughts did not change. She was always beautiful.
