Aunt Bernice, Uncle Ollie, Patty, Richard and David showed me so much love when I was young. I lived for trips to the farm. Aunt Bern treated me like one of her children. I hadn't been able to talk with her on the phone as she talked soft and I'm going deaf. But never a day went by I didn't have her on my mind. I know she's with the rest of our parents and her beloved husband Oliver. What a happy day our parents loving each other all together. We who are left behind hurt, but Aunt Bernice and the others hurt no more. My love goes with her and to my cousins. God Bless you all

It was always a joy to visit Aunt Bernice. She was always so interested in everything and had a good outlook on life. I know you will miss her but have everlasting memories of a fine woman. Janet Huskey.

So many memories come to mind of my younger years, were spent on the Huskey Farm, I was always welcomed with open arms from my Mom's Aunt Bernice and Uncle Oliver. Rides on horses, watching the cows getting milked, walking to the old schoolhouse, walking what seemed like miles through woods. Hearing what it was like to grow up in that small log cabin. What seemed then, to a city kid as the "Old'en Days". As I've grown up, to see what life really holds for a life in the city. I think the secret to a long life like Bernice and Oliver's was to live in a quiet, Country like, Farm life, Do your chores and live a Golden Life Together with Friends and Family ! Those days seem mostly gone now with the ways things have changed, Highways and SUV's seem to make all those things blend together into "just a few minutes away". But My Child and Grandchild will never know the life I've had growing up and getting to spend some of that time in such a fine place as The Huskey's Farm, In Hillsboro. Thanks to the Huskey Family. T. J. Gilda

Grandma Husky was one of the sweetest ladies I knew. I loved siting and listening to her and grandpa talk about the old days. To the Husky family I am so sorry for your loss.

My grandmother was the most amazing farmers wife. In the summer during hay season she cooked huge meals for all the hay helpers, no one walked away hungry from grandma's table, and was always back at the milk house for the evening milking at 4: 00 pm sharp. She never stopped. Milking in the morning always, cooked my favorite breakfast, waffles and fried potatoes, her and grandpa, made my best childhood memories ever.
