Barbara Ann Coleman was born on March 10, 1948 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Della & Ella (nee Courtaway) Boyer. She died on October 12, 2025 at her home in Hematite, Missouri surrounded by her family, at the age of 77.
Barbara is survived by her children, Jerry (Shannon) Coleman, Jr. of Festus, MO; Jamie (Matt) Coleman of Hematite, MO; Robert Coleman of Hematite, MO; and Mandy (Rick) Lee of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Tyler, Jerry III, Colten, Eli, Kindall, Ella, Peyton, Brenzden, Julianna, Jessica, Dom, Alicia, Kiley, and Jordan; one sister, Lena Wicker of De Soto; two brothers, Danny “Sock” (Judy) Boyer of De Soto; and Gerald (Kay Kite) Boyer of De Soto; brother-in-law, George Hoffman of Blackwell; and sister in-law, Joyce Boyer of De Soto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry W. Coleman, Sr.; one son, Leon Latham; two sisters, Bessie (the late Rich) Trojan; and Ella Hoffman; and three brothers, Donald (the late Sandy) Boyer; Wyman (the late Judy) Boyer; and Earl Boyer; and brother-in-law, Avery Wicker.
Barbara enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and shows like the Price is Right. A very special thanks to Patti Boyer Govero and everyone at Serenity Hospice for all the kindness towards the Coleman Family.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home to assist the family in the funeral expenses.
