Arthur Howard “Junior” Orrick was born on February 22, 1931 in Pilot Knob, MO. He was the son of Arthur Richard and Gladys Marie (nee Green) Orrick. He died on March 13, 2013 in Hillsboro, MO at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife, Kaylene (Ogles) Miller-Orrick, of De Soto; son, Gary (Sharon) Orrick of De Soto; daughter, Beth (Rusty) Johnston of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Jason (Aimee) Orrick of Hillsboro; Aaron (Darlene) Johnston of Hillsboro; Ryan Johnston of Hillsboro; two great grandchildren, Isaac and Grace Johnston; siblings, JoAnn Johnson of Florissant; Shirley Armstrong of South County; and Tommy Orrick of St. Louis; two step children, Reuben (Beverly) Miller of Ironton; Doyla (Wayne) Westen of Ironton; step grandchildren, Jeremy (Holly) Fox of Conway, Arkansas; Brent Fox of Lesterville; Terri Lee (Matt) Williams of Arnold; Renee (James) Compton of Potosi; and 9 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Glenda B. (nee Jaycox) Orrick; two daughters, Kathy Lynn Orrick and Karen Parker; siblings, Helen Scott; Sharon Orrick; and Robert Orrick.
Arthur was a retired mechanic from Bristol-Myers Squibb. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a faithful member of the First Free Will Baptist Church-DeSoto.
