Anthony Bob Schutte was born February 18, 1925 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Dominic and Oleta (nee Cissell) Schutte. He died on May 15, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (nee Boyer) Schutte, De Soto, MO; his children, Cheryl Aubuchon, De Soto, MO, Diana (Jerry) Gresko, St. Charles, MO, and Penny (Jeff) Milner, Chesterfield, VA; step-children, Vince (Donna) Schutte, House Springs, MO, Ed (Kay) Schutte, De Soto, MO, Rose Douglas, Springfield, MO, and Betty Boushie, Lake of the Ozarks, MO; one brother, Dominic (Ellen) Schutte, Jr., Hillsboro, MO; grandchildren, Tracy Bryant, Steve Aubuchon, Adrian Boyer, Josh Milner, Justin Gresko, and Myles Milner; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Cleta L. (nee Sullivan) Schutte. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from the Missouri National Guard; he was also a member and Past Commander of AmVets Post #48. Bob retired from the U.S. Postal Service and also worked as a plumber. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in the form of masses or Adopt-An-Angel, or the American Diabetes Association.
