Alta Barbara Sheldon was born May 27, 1926 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of John Raymond and Florence Pearl (nee Morlan) Harshaw. She died on January 20, 2015 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children, Beverly (Randy) Edmond, Festus, MO, Lonny Sheldon, Fredericktown, MO, and Philip Sheldon, Farmington, MO; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifton “Moldy” Sheldon; brothers, Glenn Harshaw, Thurman Harshaw, Carl Hawshaw, and Pete Harshaw; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Sheldon.. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
