Alice L. “Rainie” Marshall was born January 30, 1921 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Walter and Mary Elizabeth (nee Gibbons) Mischlispy. She died on June 2, 2014 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dennis) Sullivan, De Soto, MO; two sons, Glen (Joyce) Marshall, De Soto, MO and David Marshall, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Jackie (Dave) Brown, Jenny (Steven) Wurth; Keri (Rich) Gowen, Travis (Ginger) Johnson, Emma (Garrett) Bone; great-grandchildren, Marshall, Andrea, Kellen (Jessica), Kyle, Kegan, Nick, Patrick, Andrew, Maddison, Makayla, Megan, Lilly, Olivia, and Delaney; great-great grandchildren, Braelyn and Xzavier. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Marshall; a sister, Mary Curlett and brother, Robert Mischlispy. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to De Soto Food Pantry or Mount Olive United Methodist Church.
