Ada Irene Brauch was born September 5, 1929 in Ware a daughter to Samuel and Gertrude (nee Sullens) Pierce. She died December 20, 2014 at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson at the age of 85. She is survived by two daughters: Judy Brauch Long, Dittmer, and Kathryn (David) Pratt, Festus; one son: Daniel (Mary) Brauch, Jamestown; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters: Mae (Dale) Huskey, Ware and Lois (the late Robert) Weber, Crestwood; and one brother: Claude (Mary Ann) Pierce, Bridgeton. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Clifton “Clif” Brauch; two daughters: Mary Clifton and Elizabeth “Beth” Tindell; one son; Davis Brauch Sr.; and one brother: SSgt Darrel Pierce.
A homemaker Ada also worked as a real estate agent for Buxton Realty and was a faithful member of the Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. Pastor David Evans will officiate the funeral service. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church Building Fund or the Pilgrim’s Rest Memorial Gardens.
