Vopel E. Foster was born November 19, 1928 in Pike County, Indiana. He was one of the eight children of Artis and Verdelia (nee Lewis) Foster. He died on November 7, 2016 at The Villa’s in De Soto, MO at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his wife, Frances (nee Stanley) Foster, De Soto, MO; children, Gary (Wanita) Foster, House Springs, MO; Glenn Foster, Fenton, MO; Kelly (Kathy) Foster, Sullivan, MO; step-children, Marsha (Bob) Sturgeon, Washington, IN; Fred (Jacquelyn) Ubbenga, Washington, IN: Daniel “Dink” (Melonie) Eaker, Ware, MO; Todd Eaker, De Soto, MO; Paul (Sherri) Eaker, Cedar Hill, MO; Rebekah Eaker, De Soto, MO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ronald Foster; and one step-son and his wife, Cord (Carla) Eaker.
