Virginia M. Sansoucie was born in Hillsboro on August 10, 1938 a daughter to Mina (nee Oetjen) and William Ruengert, Sr. She died on May 14, 2018 at her De Soto home at the age of 79. She was retired from the De Soto Shoe Factory and was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in De Soto. She is survived two nieces: Linda (Tom) Schild, Cape Girardeau and Pat Jackman, Festus. She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Margaret and her husband Earl “Skeeter” Helms; two brothers: Walter Ruengert and his wife Marie and William Ruengert, Jr.; and one nephew Dennis Helms Sr. whose wife Norma survives and lives in St. Peter’s. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1620 Boyd Street, De Soto, MO 63020. Rev. Dr. G Michael Rose will officiate the services.
