Velva M. Cole, age 99, of De Soto, MO died March 27, 2019 at Crystal Oaks Assisted Living in Festus, MO.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, playing golf and collecting antiques.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in De Soto.  Born December 20, 1919 in Fertile, MO to Edward B. and Mae (Politte) Martin.  Velva’s  loving family includes her son, Ronald E. (Sharon) Cole, Fenton, MO grandchildren William (Nancy) Cole of O’Fallon and their children Lauren, Jordan, and Aiden, and the late Ronald Brent Cole, his wife Colleen who lives in Arnold, MO and their children Blake and Courtney.  She was also a loving aunt of dozens of nieces and nephews of whom she adored. With her grandson she is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Numan Cole, and two sisters, Edna (Homer) Becker and Virginia (Norman) Eshbaugh.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Blackwell Masonic Cemetery, c/o Blackwell Masonic Lodge, P.O.
