Thomas Gale Tinsley was born January 31, 1929 in Bismarck, MO. He was the son of Thomas John and Anne (nee Brown) Tinsley. He died on January 27, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his wife, Ida (McHarg) Tinsley, De Soto, MO; children, Dan (Penny) Tinsley, Desloge, MO; Suzanne Tinsley, Festus, MO, and Kristi (Doug) Crocker, Hillsboro, MO; step-sons, Kevin (Christy) Gibson, Kansas City, MO; Glenn (Theresa) Gibson, Union, MO; sisters, Betty Houk, Cape Girardeau, MO and Norma Kraus, Chesterfield, MO; grandchildren, Colby (Brittney) Tinsley, Annie (Brian) Whitfield, Shannon Tinsley, Dylan Crocker, and Taylor Crocker; eight great-grandchildren; step-granddaughter, Amanda (Dustyn) Sullentrup; step great-grandchild, Avery Lynn Sullentrup. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Frances (Karnei) Tinsley; and 11 brothers and sisters. Thomas taught electronics at Jefferson College and St. Charles Community College after he retired from the U. S. Airforce.
