Thomas A. Scharfenberger was born on February 23, 1933 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Ambrose and Leona (Leriche) Scharfenberger. He died on February 5, 2008 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 74 years.
He is survived by his children, Terry (Mike) Neckermann of Hillsboro, MO and Thomas (Kris) Scharfenberger of Oakville, MO and their mother Mary Lou Wittemore of St. Louis; three stepchildren, Don (Kathy) Neiger of Imperial, MO, Laurie (Tommy) McKinnon of Fenton, MO and Doug Neiger of Overland Park, KS; two sisters, Virginia (Vernon) Telthorst of St. Louis, MO and Leona Hessler of Prescott, AZ; three grandchildren, Leah Parkin, Tara Schellert, and Emily Neckermann; four step grandchildren, Nick and Emily Rice, Kelsey and Kaitlyn Neiger; and two great grandchildren Clay and Cole Parkin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dolores Scharfenberger and one sister Margaret (Bob) Douglas.
