Teresa Marie (Braun) Schmitz, 82, of Festus died Jan. 11, 2011, in Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Schmitz was a member of Christian Life Church in Milton, FL. Born May 7, 1928 in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Esther Marie Braun. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferd A. Schmitz.
She is survived by two sons: Scott (Trish) Schmitz of Pevely and Todd Schmitz of Hillsboro; one daughter, Jan Marie (Tom) Laiben of Milton, FL; one brother, Vernon Braun of Mt. Zion, IL; five grandchildren: Kristie (Scott) Sessions of Milton, FL, Daniel (Sadira) of Summerville, S.C., Emelie Schmitz of Festus, Kyle Schmitz of Festus and Georgia Schmitz of De Soto; and three great-grandchildren: Jada Laiben, Domenica Laiben and Isabella Laiben. She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Braun.
