Sophia Ottie Pierce was born on June 18, 1927 in Belle, MO . She was the daughter of Mose and Clara (Rogers) Withouse. She died on February 10, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 82.
She is survived by her children, Melba (Clyde) Gabbert of Lonedell, MO; Judy (Earl) Zumwalt of Barnhart, MO; Mary Bockskopf of Imperial, MO; Ronald (Brenda Chastain) Pierce of House Springs, MO; Glen “Rick” (Angela) Pierce of Park Hills, MO; Kenneth (Evelyn Brakefield) Pierce of Festus, MO; Daughter-in-law, Jill Pierce of Festus, MO; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Vaughn of De Soto, MO; and Marie Howell of De Soto, MO.
She was preceded in death by one son Dale Pierce; and two siblings, Sarah Deaton and Ray Withouse; one son-in-law, Ken Bockskopf.
