The impact Ms. Sandy had on my family isn't difficult to see at all, simply mention her name and huge smiles quickly draw across their faces. I would consider it remarkable if I ever met another person as kind and warm as Sandy, she was beautiful in every way, the fact that glitter is her favorite "color" makes perfect sense to me. there's no better way to describe her personality or the love she exuded - she sparkled in every sense of the word. We thank God that we were lucky enough to know her. Each time we peer into the night sky and look upon the stars, we will be reminded of her and how brilliantly she sparkled. Shine on Ms. Sandy, we love you - see you at the alter on Sundays!

It’s interesting that Sandra’s name means “protector or defender of humanity.” This is an accurate description of Sandy’s genuineness. She deeply cared about others. Although, my genuine friend and I were miles apart in distance, her love will forever have a deep and lasting footprint in my heart.

How ironic that I believe our last conversation at church was regarding our common love of the sp.arkly, glittery, shiny things in life. Though certainly family, friends and everyone who knew you will miss you, you now sparkle, glittery and shine beyond our wildest dreams in the Presence of Our Lord.
