Robert "Bob" Winckel

Robert “Bob” L. Winckel was born on May 3, 1930 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Carl & Bernice (nee Evans) Hoelzel. He died on September 26, 2012 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO at the age of 82.
He is survived by his children, Robert “Bob” (Pam) Winckel of De Soto; Bruce (Laurie) Winckel of Bonne Terre; Karen (Ed) Schuh of Hillsboro; Cheryl (Barry) Byers of Washington; and Melinda (David) McGougan of Florissant; 17 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren; brother, Gus (Teresa) Winckel of De Soto; sisters, Barbara Hoelzel of De Soto; and Mary Courtois of De Soto; and one step daughter, Marg (Pat) Jackson, De Soto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Edith Winckel.
He was a member of Morse Mill Baptist Church. Bob was a retired supervisor after 42 years of service for PPG.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Morse Mill Baptist Church or to Autism Speaks in honor of his great grandson Andrew.
