Robert Dean Argent was born March 29, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of William Argent and Gladys Oma (nee Dexter) Argent. He died on April 20, 2016 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Geneva (nee Goatcher) Argent, De Soto, MO; one son, Andrew Kelly Argent, Amarillo, TX; daughter-in-law, Teresa Argent, Salisbury, MO; grandchildren, Christopher (Meghan) Argent, Patrick (Christina) Argent and Alisa Argent; two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah & McKenna. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Robert Nathan Argent. Bob was a retired elementary school teacher at Hillsboro R-III School District, after his retirement he worked at De Soto Hardees; H & R Block; and B.J.’s Bookkeeping. He was a member of Park View Baptist Church and also an ordained minister having served as Pastor of Victoria Baptist Church. Jacob Adams and Christopher and Patrick Argent will lead worship at the funeral service.
