Rhea Varlene Fortner was born November 28, 1934 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Russell and Vernie (nee Bunch) Brandenberg. She died on July 14, 2014 at Willow Creek Care Center in Belleville, IL at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her son, James (Lauvena) Fortner, Cedar Hill, MO and daughter, Kim (Jim) Knox, Guthrie, OK; and one daughter-in-law, Melissa Fortner, Eureka, MO; one sister, Elaine Barnhardt, Florissant, MO and one brother, Robert (Cindy) Mason, Ellisville, MO; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, William Fortner, Jr.; and one sister, Marilyn Hayes.
