Lindell Phillip “Phil” Rowe, Jr. was born in St. Louis on February 5, 1941 a son to Florence Ethel “Chick” and Lindell Phillip “Dude”  Rowe, Sr.  He died at Mercy Hospital-St. Louis on September 20, 2024 at the age of 83.  He is survived by his son Jeff Rowe, De Soto; two sisters: Carol Lynn Baxter, Minneapolis, MN and Lee Ellen (Don) Hogan, Festus; two brothers: Richard “Richie” (Dolores) Rowe, Bonne Terre and Stevan Rowe, De Soto and a special groups of nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sylvia “Sibby” (nee Hill) Rowe; a son Jason Rowe;  a sister Susan Gail Rowe; and a brother in law Gerald Baxter. After graduating from De Soto High School and attending Missouri School of Mines he came back to DeSoto to work in the family business, Hamel and Rowe Hardware. In 1969 ventured into his own business forming the Trio Amusement Company. In 1974 he brought in his brother Richard as a partner in the business. Phil and Rich owned and operated Trio Amusement Company until their retirement.  Phil was a lifelong member of Trinity Episcopal Church in De Soto. He served in the Missouri National Guard and was a member of AmVets Post #48.  He was also a member of B.P.O.E. #689 where he was a very active supporter of their Holiday Food Basket Program.  Phil enjoyed restoring and showing classic automobiles and especially 1957 Chevys.
