Norma Jeane Wiley was born June 23, 1929 in Leadwood, MO. She was the daughter of Jesse Edgar and Ruth Jewell (Jinkerson) Whitt. She died on January 27, 2016 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her daughter, Frances (Larry) Deaton, Blackwell, MO; and Patty Briguglio, De Soto, MO; four grandchildren, Mike (Dawn) Deaton, Matt (Shelly) Deaton, Nicolina Briguglio, and Erica Briguglio; six great-grandchildren, Sami, Terri, Maggie, Jesse, Chase, and Tory. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James L. Wiley; one step-brother, Larry McCutcheon. Norma was a teacher at Athena and Sunrise Schools and a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in De Soto.
