Norma Jean Sansoucie was born in Old Mines on January 8, 1934 a daughter to Nelia Mary (nee Bequette) and Leo G. Boyer, Sr. She died on July 20, 2012, surrounded by her family, at her Hillsboro home at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband Harold J. “Quan” Sansoucie who she married on June 18, 1955 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines; three daughters: Linda (Tom) Lewis, Cadet, Lisa (Bryan) Amsden, Hillsboro, and Lora (Tim) Pettibone, Hillsboro; three sons: Richard (Cherylle) Sansoucie, St. Louis, Dennis (Lana) Sansoucie, Blackwell, and Brian (Emilie) Sansoucie, High Ridge; eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Loreda (Bernard “Blue”) Boyer, Hillsboro, and Sheila (Clifford Earl) Missey, Hillsboro; and one brother: Leo Boyer, Jr, St. Louis. She worked for over 30 years as custodian for the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and School and was very active in many of the activities of the Parish. Rev. Fr. Dennis Schmidt will celebrate the mass with a homily by Deacon Paul Martin. Interment will immediatly follow in the Good Shepherd Parish Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Catholic School.
