Nancy M. Apple was born January 30, 1930 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Harold Hearst and Sarah Mabel (nee Akins) Kingsland. She died on August 18, 2020 at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto, MO at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her two step-children, Loyd (Karen) Apple, Pacific, MO and Bonnie Kingsland, De Soto, MO; siblings, Lilly Huskey, De Soto, MO; David (Bernice) Kingsland, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Col. Richard (Judy) Apple, USAF, Las Vegas, NV; and Linda Apple, Pacific, MO; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Katherine, Stephanie, Sarah, Kevin, Joshua, Jeremiah, Jonathon, and Julia; great great grandchildren, Charlie and Kathryn; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shelby Boone Apple; one brother, Frank Kingsland and sister-in-law, Buddy Kingsland. Nancy was a retired school teacher at the De Soto Public Schools and a member of the Park View Baptist Church. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Park View Baptist Church or American Cancer Society.
