Mary “Jane” Oberbeck, 67, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28th at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born on April 14, 1955 in St. Louis. Daughter of the late Robert and Adeline (Nadler) Martin. She graduated from Maplewood/Richmond Heights in 1973. She graduated from Burge School of Nursing in Springfield, MO in 1976. She then started working at Jefferson Memorial in ICU, OR, ER and Cardiac Rehab. She was a nurse for 47 years.
Jane married Jerry Oberbeck on August 21, 1976. Their first year of marriage they lived in San Diego while Jerry was in the Marine Corps. They settled in De Soto where they raised their family.
Jane loved to fish with family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting blankets and pillows. She also loved to watch her granddaughter Malia play soccer and her granddaughter Lily dance in her dance recitals.
She is survived by her husband Jerry, one son, Christopher “Chris” Oberbeck, one daughter, Allison (Ryan) Moss and granddaughters, Lily Oberbeck and Malia Moss.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents and Noah Condray (dear friend of family).
