Mary Magdalen Coleman was born January 23, 1918 in Washington County a daughter to James and Emma (nee Bourisaw) DeClue.  She died July 30, 2011 at the Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto at the age of 93.  She is survived by four daughters: Frances Johnston, De Soto, Joan (Jim) Houston, De Soto, Imelda “Millie” Popp, Independence, and Mary Jane Lewis, Fenton;  16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Chester Paul “Diamond T” Coleman; two brothers: Aloysius J. DeClue and Fabian De Clue; one son in law: “Bum” Johnston; and one sister in law Ginny DeClue. Father Alex Anderson will officiate the funeral mass with burial to follow in the St. Joachim Parish Cemetery, Old Mines.  Deacon Ed Boyer will have evening prayer Thursday.  As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or in the form of masses.
