Marie D. Hoff was born on April 12, 1932 in Blackwell, MO. She was the daughter of Abraham & Sylvia (nee Bequette) Emily. She peacefully passed away on April 6, 2024 at her home in De Soto at the age of 91.
Marie is survived by her children, Robert (Beverly) Hoff of St. Cloud, FL; David (Brenda) Hoff of Farmington, MO; Nancy (Richard) McCabe of Van Alstyne, TX; Shane Hoff of De Soto, MO; and Kevin (Karen) Hoff of De Soto, MO; two brothers, Ted Emily of Shady Valley, MO; and Wendell Emily of Potosi, MO; sister-in-law, Ann Emily of Potosi, MO; 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Marie had worked as a waitress at the Three Maples and had also worked as a cook at the De Soto McDonalds restaurant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Otis Hoff, Jr.; a son, James Hoff, III; brother, Joseph Emily; sister, Mary Ann Brewer; and sisters-in-law, Connie Emily and Marilyn Emily.
