Marie Agers
February 1, 1919 - June 6, 2009
L. Marie Agers was born February 1, 1919, in De Soto MO, and daughter to Paul R. and Jessie (nee Cole) Secrets. She died at her home in De Soto on June 6, 2009 having reached the age of 90. On April 3, 1937 she married Albert E. Agers and from this union three sons were born; Edward, Robert “Bob” and the late Marshall Agers.
Marie is survived by her sons; Edward Agers of Branson, MO; and Bob Agers of Fletcher, MO; a sister, Glenda Perry of De Soto; two brothers, Floyd “Toby” Reynolds and Herb Reynolds, also of De Soto; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her son, she was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Paul Secrets and Jessie Secrets Reynolds; step father, John A. Reynolds, sister, Lorraine Ames; two brothers, James Reynolds and Paul R. “Dick” Secrets; two grandchildren, Alan Agers and Jeff Agers; and a great grandson, Timothy Agers.
She was a member of AmVets Post #48 Ladies Auxiliary
