Luther L. “Shorty” Valle was born February 18, 1924 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Larken Allen and Bertha Ellen (nee Johnson) Valle. He died on January 28, 2014 at Festus Manor at the age of 89 years 11 months 10 days. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia (nee Pope) Valle; siblings, Delmar and Harold Valle; and one sister, Wanda McKay.
