Loyd N. Apple, 83, A long time resident of Pacific, Missouri passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, March 8, 2022 with his loving wife of 60+ years, Karen Patricia Apple (nee Rhodes) by his side. He is preceded in death by his father, Shelby Bonne; mother Hazel Nadine (nee Dehls); and step mother Nancy Marie (nee Kingsland).
Loyd is survived by his wife Karen; sister Bonnie Kingsland of De Soto, Missouri, and his children; Ms Linda Apple of Pacific, Missouri, and Colonel (USAF, Retired) Richard Lynn and wife Judy Magee Apple of Navarre, Florida. He treasured his two grandchildren; Katherine Sharon Apple of Chaska, Minnesota and Matthew Thomas Apple of Virginia Beach, Virginia, as well as his dozens of nieces, nephews, dear friends, cherished grand-dogs, and grand-cats!
The family will hold a small private inurnment at a later date. In accordance with their wishes, in lieu of cards or flowers they ask that you contribute anonymously to the charity of your choice.
