Lindell Wesley Fischer was born in De Soto on Jan. 5, 1945 a son to John and Rebecca (Gowan) Fischer. He died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center on February 2, 2011 at the age of 66. He is survived by his mother who lives in De Soto; sisters Ruth Fisher of De Soto and Mary Fischer of Mapelwood; and brothers John L. (Pat) Fischer and David Fischer both of De Soto. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Fischer was a self employed excavator and truck driver who started out working with his father digging basements, building ponds and clearing land, and was interested in trucks, tractors, mechnics, and also enjoyed music.. He also served in the Missouri National Guard.
