Uncle Hershel,
I just read where you wife has died.
I have often wondered where you are living. We see Aunt Mildred and Aunt Lucy about once a year.So Aunt Mildred told me about where you were living.
I probably wouldn't know you anymore and I doubt if you would know me. The years seem to change us.
I am sorry that it is under these circumstances that I found out where you are. We are in Sullivan now.
Take care,
Love, Leona

To the family of Linda please accept my deepest sympathies. I didn't know Linda, but I share your loss, in that I lost somebody way too young. I just want to share the comfort with which I was comforted at the time of my loss.
There is a Bible account that really extends a wonderful promise from God and will be done by his Son Jesus. The account is at John 11:11-44 where Jesus' friend Lazarus dies.
Even though Jesus knew he would bring Lazarus to life, he cried when he learned of his falling asleep in death.
The comfort we get from this is that Jesus can and will do the same for our loved ones who are asleep in death. Think of how it will be when you welcome Linda and Brandi back together. Like Lazarus' family on his return all tears of sadness will be tears of great joy. And this time never again will death occur. Revelation 21:3,4 tells us it will be gone forever. What a joyous happy time that will be.
Until then we must patiently wait on the Great Time Keeper, Jehovah, to give Jesus the signal to begin the resurrection on the last day. While we wait, may the peace of God be with you all during this time.
