LeRoy F. “Deacon” “Bill” Parmeley was born May 16, 1934 in DeSoto a son to Roy and Julia (nee Craig) Parmeley.  He died July 6, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at the age of 75.
He is survived by his wife Sandy (nee Kreft) Parmeley, De Soto; two sons, Craig “Butch” (Carol) Parmeley, Kansas City, and Mike (Cherie) Parmeley, Wentzville; four grandchildren, Lauren, Drew, Alexis, and Abbigail Parmeley; one brother Earl Parmely, DeSoto; and his mother-in-law Elsie Kreft, DeSoto; nieces and nephews; & many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Robert “Bob”, Clarence “Sleep”, and Don Parmeley.
Mr. Parmeley was a member of AmVets Post #48, American Legion Post #253, B.P.O.E. #689 and served for many years as the DeSoto Big League Baseball Team coach.
