Leona M. Maxwell was born August 21, 1924 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Lawrence Edwin and Della Charlotte (nee Smith) Levall.  She died on January 6, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, MO at the age of 87 years. She is survived by  her son, James (Amy)  Maxwell, Sr., De Soto, MO; two grandchildren, Matthew Maxwell and James Maxwell, Jr., of De Soto, MO; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Levall, Bernice Levall, and Jerry Levall; and  nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur W. Maxwell; siblings, Edgar “Speed”  Levall; Earl “Shot” Levall; Ron Levall; Glynn “Tub” Levall; Clifford Levall; Mary Ida Levall; and Lynn Levall; and sister-in-law, Marcella Levall.
