Larry Wayne Cotner was born July 1, 1958 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Junior and Shirley (nee Jackson) Cotner. He died on December 6, 2024 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his wife, Edna (nee Vessell) Cotner, De Soto, MO; sons, Jason (Megan) Cotner, St. Louis, MO; Adam (Megan) Cotner, Ste. Genevieve, MO; Ronnie (Rebekah) Martin, Valley Park, MO and Steven (Sarah) Martin, Belleville, IL; daughters, Ashley (Mitchell) Scrivner, Hillsboro, MO; Shirley (Mike) Schroeder, St. Louis, MO and Crystal (Michael) Murphy, St. Louis, MO; one brother, Tim (Jim) Cotner, St. Louis, MO and a sister, Cindy (John) Young, Independence, MO; grandchildren, Aubrey Cotner, Karleigh Cotner, Brock Cotner, Lucas Cotner, Piper Cotner, Alyssa Schroeder, Dalton Cotner, Dylan Martin, Olivia Scrivner, Jackson Martin, Evelynn Scrivner, Charlotte Martin and Lucas Murphy. He is preceded in death by a son Joshua Cotner. Larry retired after 44 years at O’Fallon Castings. He loved to spend time with family, a love of model cars, and riding four wheelers with grandchildren.
