Judy V. Oker was born in Valles Mines on February 27, 1947. She died at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on July 19, 2022 at the age of 75. She is survived by her daughters: Tina (Scott Hagler) Sauer, Granite City, IL, Christie (Mike) Banach, De Soto, Robin Buchanan, De Soto and Jessica (Donald) Rulo, De Soto; two godsons: Graham Boynton, De Soto and Garrett Flynn, De Soto; her grandchildren: Katie (Ryan) Cornell, Caleb Buchanan, Zach Banach, Jacob Banach, Jed Rulo and Ellie Rulo; great grandchildren Riley and Hadley Cornell; her siblings: Ron (Evelyn) Danback, Wright City, Lloyd L. (Becky) Danback, Potosi, Keith Danback, St. Clair, Michael Danback, Potosi, Hope (Greg) Danback, St. Louis, Kenneth (Eloise) Stice, Chana, IL, Deborah (James) Eddy, High Ridge, Sherry Bannister, Pevely and Leslie (Gary) O’Neal, Herculaneum; a sister in law JoAnn Bannister Hurr, Bonne Terre and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Lloyd J. Danback; her mother Ilene (nee Huskey) Bannister; her step mother Alice Faye (nee Bourbon) Danback,; her step father Paul Bannister; her husband Martin Oker; two sons in law David Dempsey and Joe Sauer; a sister Debbie Danback; a brother Randy Bannister;  a sister in law Charlotte Danback; and a nephew Ronnie Paul Eddy.
