Judith “Judy” Jackson was born in De Soto on December 17, 1948 a daughter to Alvera A. “Vera” (nee Bressler) and Charles R. Chapman, Sr. She died at Missouri Baptist Hospital-Sullivan on December 4, 2020 at the age of 71. She is survived by her children: Laura (Duane) Sargent, De Soto, Beth (Philip) Blanford, Richwoods, Donna (Randy) Conrad, Isabella, and Danielle Jackson, Belleville, IL; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters: Pat Wagner Holt, De Soto, Alice Suiter, De Soto, Arlene Parton, Phoenix, AZ, and Charlene Wougamon, Gorham, IL; three brothers: Charles R. “Chuck” Chapman, Sr., New York, NY, Robert “Bob” Chapman, Arnold, and Harold Chapman, New York, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Joseph E. Jackson; a sister Mary Northcutt; and three brothers: William R. “Bill” Chapman, Russell Chapman, and Ronald Chapman.
