Juanita N. Dressendofer Batts was born in Reno, Ark. on September 15, 1922 a daughter to Floyd Lee and Alice (nee Hager) Leonard. She went to her heavenly home on July 24, 2018 at the age of 95. She had worked at Sportsman Park in St. Louis, Kaufman Food Service, and retired in 1981 from F.W. Woolworth where she was a fountain manager. She then moved to Arkansas to work for her daughter for 6 years at the Kristy Kone and then moved back to De Soto. Juanita enjoyed making quilts many of which will be displayed at the funeral service. She also enjoyed doing crafts, making angels, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children: Alice Jone Lentz, De Soto, Ernest G. “Ernie” (Mary Ann) Dressendofer, Crestwood, and Judy (George) Crider, De Soto; four grandchildren: Robin (Jeff) Centerino, Tony (Debbie) Crider, Kevin (Kayla) Crider, and Gina (Corey) Sandt; eleven great-grandchildren: Dustin (Autumn) Crider, Cori Centerino, Dylan Crider, Allie Centerino, Lukas Crider, Sophie Centerino, Livie Sandt, Evan Sandt, Hank Elder, CJ Elder, and Amber Curnel; two great-great-grandchildren: Addison Ross and Kennedy Ross; one sister: Lavada Phillips, San Jose, CA; one brother: Sterling Leonard, Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Estel Dressendofer and Albert Batts; two sisters: Mildred Wallace and Melzena Derrington; four brothers: Loren Leonard, Hubert Leonard, Floyd Leonard, and Robert Leonard;and a son-in-law: Bernard Lentz. Juanita was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, De Soto, MO; Rev. Lari Grubbs, Pastor of the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, Festus will officiate the funeral service
