Joyce D. Queen was born on December 17, 1942 in Kimmswick, MO.  She was the daughter of Joseph “Buck” & Opal (nee Oglesby) Boyer.  She died on March 16, 2025 at Cedarhurst in Arnold, MO at the age of 82.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Andrea Queen of Ballwin and Natalie Queen of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Hannah Heffron, Maitland Heffron, Zachary Angle, Nathaniel (Ashlie Winkler) Kimes, and Annaleigh Kimes; and great grandchildren, Adelynn Coleman, Houston Kimes and Paislee Kimes; her siblings, Allen Boyer of Ballwin, Charlie (Lee Anna Moutray) Boyer of De Soto, Richard “Rick” (Lisa) Boyer of De Soto, Michael “Mick” (Sandy) Boyer of De Soto, and Carol Pikula of Farmington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel Jack Queen; and two sisters, Olive Boyer and Barb (Gerry) Gannon.

Joyce was a member of the Island Country Club in Marco Island, Florida and a member of the St. Louis Women’s Golf Association.

As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Neurofibromatosis Center at Wash U or the Alzheimer’s Association.
