Joseph Ronald Sauer was born in Festus on March 19, 1966 a son to Bernard and Marian (nee Grieshaber) Sauer.  He died a Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation on April 13, 2020 at the age of 54.  He is survived by his daughter Katie (Ryan) Cornell, De Soto; two grandchildren: Riley and Hadley; his siblings: Robert Sauer, Oakville, Cathy (Keith) Davis, McKinney, TX, Elizabeth Sauer, Festus, David (Judy) Sauer, Oakville, Evan (Jeanne) Sauer, St. Louis, and James (Vhine) Sauer, Tampa, FL.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  A graduate of St. Pius X High School and Southeast Missouri State University Joe served as organist for St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church among other churches in the area.
