Joseph L. Warden was born October 16, 1941 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Leonard I. and Mary Evelyn (nee Courtois) Warden. He died on September 4, 2019 at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto, MO at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife, Judy (nee Haas) Warden, De Soto, MO; one daughter, Lisa M. (Bill) Polley, De Soto, MO; and one son, Michael (Selena) Warden, Frisco, TX; one brother, John R. (Linda) Warden, De Soto, MO; and one sister, Ruth Marie Warden, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Polley, Cody (Meghan) Polley, and Caitlin Polley; Kaleb Warden; Benjamin Hanko, and Joshua Hanko; great-grandchildren, Zeke and Crosby; Judy’s children, Chris (Kristina) Agers, St. Clair, MO; and Cheri (John Hardin) Agers, De Soto, MO and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Agnes I. (nee Ganninger) Warden; and one sister, Mary Ann (Ed) Thost. Joe worked in quality control at Metal Container Corp.; he was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1185; and he enjoyed square dancing, camping and traveling.
