John Linden Jackson was born November 23, 1960 in Highland,IL. He died at his Pevely home on September 8, 2014 at the age of 53. He is survived by his mother: Marilee (the late Richard) Wilkinson, Pevely; his father John Lee (Shelba) Jackson, Pittsburgh, IL; one son: Travis Beck, Murphysboro, IL; two sisters: Amy (Curtis Terry) Meyer, Las Vegas, NV and Christie Brookshire, Sanford, FL; three grandchildren: Myah, Kaylee, and Ethan; one grandmother: Eugenia “Jeanie” Jackson, Marion, IL; a niece Jennifer Pratt and her son Damon of Imperial, and nephew Zachary Brookshire, Sanford, FL. John was retired from the United States Air Force and a member of VFW Post 4183. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, 2320 Pine St., St. Louis, MO 63103.
