Jerry W. Coleman was born on June 17, 1952 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Edward & Bertis Jean (nee Pipkins) Coleman. He died at his home on September 11, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 72.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Ann (nee Boyer) Coleman of Hematite; children, Todd Coleman, of San Diego, CA, Angel Jones, of San Diego, CA, Jerry (Shannon) Coleman, Jr. of Festus, Jamie (Matt) Coleman of Hematite, Robert Coleman of Hematite, Mandy (Rick) Lee of St. Louis, Lisa (Tom) Bequette, Hillsboro; two sisters, Patricia (Rick) Emily of Potosi and Mary Goodwin of St. Louis; grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Tyler, Jerry III, Colten, Eli, Kindall, Ella, Peyton, Brenzden, Julianna, Jessica, Dom, Alicia, Kiley, Jordan and Chucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Leon Latham; and siblings, Jim Coleman, Ronald Coleman, Edward Coleman and Dorothy Coleman.
Jerry was the owner and operator of Coleman Foundations and Concrete. He was a 27 year member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks #1721 – Festus/Crystal City.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made towards the funeral expenses at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
