Jerry C. Appleton, Sr. was born September 6, 1940 in Canalou, MO. He was the son of Sidney Walter Sr. and Eva Loucrecie (nee Reeves) Appleton. He died on November 17, 2013 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his son, Jerry (Dina) Appleton, Jr., De Soto, MO; three brothers, Gary (Judy) Appleton, Sr., Hillsboro, MO; Melvin Appleton, Sr., De Soto, MO; Harold Appleton, Sr., St. Louis, MO; and one sister, Carolyn (LeRoy) Staub, St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Taylor and Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita Jean Appleton; one brother, Sidney Appleton, Jr. Jerry worked for the Parks Department for the State of Missouri.
