Jacqueline Rice was born in St. Louis on August 13, 1942 a daughter to Eugene and Maude (nee Coffman) Farrell.  She died at her De Soto home on November 26, 2019 at the age of 77.  She is survived by her husband Joy V. Rice.  Joy and Jacqueline were married on  October 14, 1964 in  St. Louis.  She is also survived by her daughter Laurie (Samuel, Sr.) Simon, St. Louis; two sons: Joseph (Patti) Rice, De Soto and Michael (Linda) Rice, St. Louis; seven grandchildren: Richard (Kelly) Estopare, Samuel Simon, Jr., John Simon, Elaina Simon, Zach Rice, Lance Rice, and Nicola Byrne; two great-grandchildren: Scarlet “Lettie” and Savannah Estopare; one brother Robert Farrell of St. Louis, MO; and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Laura Jeanne  Glidewell and her husband Don and Patricia  Wallace and her husband Roy; and two brothers: Theodore Farrell and his wife Mary Ann and Edward Farrell and his wife Carolyn.  Jacqueline  had retired as an Administrative Assistant at the Washington County Memorial Hospital and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made in the form of Masses to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. 3rd. St., De Soto, MO  63020.
