Jack E. Lewis of De Soto, MO died on June 9, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 86. He was born on May 26, 1923 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of the late James Edwin and Julia May Charlotte (Ruppel) Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Kleinschmidt) Lewis of De Soto, MO. Jack and Evelyn were married on September 8, 1946 in De Soto, MO. He is also survived by three sons, Jackie (Sharon) Lewis of De Soto, MO, Tom (Ree) Lewis of Washington, MO, and Gary (Debbie) Lewis of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Two sisters, Betty Hubbard Rasico of De Soto, MO and Norma Jarvis of De Soto, MO. And by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee Lewis & Wm. “Bud” Lewis; and three sisters, Nana Mae Goetz, Virginia Jones, & Marjorie Crow Diedrich.
