Arthur Taylor “Jack” Morris was born on December 24, 1937 in Bonne Terre, MO. He was the son of William Arwin and Hazel Irene (nee Bates) Morris. He died on August 17, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 87.
Jack is survived by his wife Rhonda (nee Hastings) Morris of De Soto, MO; two children, Stephen (Michelle) Morris of Chesterfield, MO and Elaine (Ray) Huskey of De Soto, MO; one sister, Judy Muniz of Hawaii; grandchildren, Jennifer (Andi) Simmons, Matthew (Jasmine) Huskey, Jacob (Paulina) Huskey, Courtney Morris, and Lindsey (Austin) Meyer; and great grandchildren: Audrey Morris, Olivia Simmons, Harrison Huskey, Anderson Huskey, Everleigh Meyer and Jack Huskey.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Don Morris, Bill Morris and Darrell Morris.
Jack served in the United States Army and was a retired manager from Queen’s Grocery Store. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto.
