When I was a little kid, my family would go to Aunt Addie Mae and Uncle Harry's house every Christmas Eve. There we would have a wonderful dinner with the Wiggins' family as well as with Grandma and Grandpa Craig. Then we would visit with our cousins and Uncle Harry would "crack open" that little globe, spilling Hershey's kisses all over the floor for us to dash after. After that, presents would be opened and we would play a game of pool (very cool). Finally we would get to take Grandma and Grandpa home with us for Christmas day. This was our "ritual" that we did year after year. This is one of my favorite childhood memories!

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Harry. I have many fond memories of Uncle Harry including many Christmas celebrations at the family home in St. Louis. He always had the most beautifully decorated live fir tree and always took time for all of his kids, nieces and nephews. When the time came, he would gather us together for the much anticipated breaking of the Piñata and the subsequent mad dash to pick up all of the delicious candy that spilled forth and scattered in front of the tree. The ensuing scamble was such fun and must have been a sight to behold! Uncle Harry was also quite the woodworker and introduced and mentored me with his love of his craft. The world was a much better place with him and I will forever be thankful for the time he spent with all of those he loved including me.

I have very fond memories of Paw-Paw, as he liked to be called. When I was young, I would go over to spend the entire week over at his and Grandma's house. There was a small cup that was filled with coins in the kitchen that the grandchildren got when they came ove. My brothers would have to work around the house for it, but he must have had a soft spot for me and just gave it to me. There was a "magic" Aladdin lamp that you rubbed and opened to fid candy. When I went to UCM, whose mascot is the mule, he wrote me a very sweet letter talking about the two mules he worked with at his parents' farm. The last memory I have of him is seeing him shortly after my wedding. I went to give him a hug, and he told me he doesn't usually hug married women, but for me he'd make an exception. I'll miss Pawpaw.

My fondest memory of Uncle Harry was when my brothers and I would visit him and Aunt Addie Mae for Christmas. His tree was decorated with lights that bubbled. He also had a candy ball that he would release and my brothers and I would scramble with delight for the Hershey kisses. Uncle Harry had a twinkle in his eye and a delightful laugh. He will always be remembered fondly.
