Guenter E. Waltenberger was born May 9, 1939 in Karlsrahe, Germany. He was the son of Rudolf Waltenberger and Dina (nee Buhn) Waltenberger Kienath. He passed on March 2, 2017 at Scenic Nursing Center in Herculaneum, MO at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his sons, Dean (Pam) Waltenberger, Imperial, MO; and Don (Julie) Waltenberger, Pella, IA; grandchildren, Jason, Ross, Timothy, Allison, Ryan, Danielle, Katja, and Anya; great-grandchildren, Noah, Reagan, Bryce, Frankie, Thomas, Lucas, and Brandon. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Albert Kienath; wife, Ingrid (nee Lorenzen) Waltenberger; siblings; and one grandson, Justin. Guenter was a bottler at Anheuser Busch and belonged to Teamsters Local 1187.
