Gloria Jeannie Lucas was born in De Soto on October 5, 1946 a daughter to Willard and Lyda Alberta (nee Cobb) Gore.  She died on January 12, 2021 at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson at the age of 74.  She is survived by her daughters: Rebecca ( the late Kenneth) Baugher, Hillsboro, Rhonda (David) McKalip, De Soto, Shirley (Ron) Schroeder, Millstadt, IL, and Cora (Ron, Jr.) Schrum, De Soto; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; two sisters: Pat (Leon) Pyatt, De Soto and Debra (Rob) Owens, De Soto; and three brothers: Daniel “Beaver” (Kathy) Voyles, Cedar Hill, Bo Voyles, Hillsboro, and Gary Voyles, St. Louis; a sister in law Karen Gore, High Ridge; brother in law Sonny Bax, De Soto; and a step son Mark (Kim) Lucas, Hillsboro.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her step father who raised her: William M Voyles; her husband Frank H. Lucas; a son David O’Harver, Jr.; a grandson Tre’ Schrum; two sisters Betty Voyles and her husband William and Phyllis Bax; four brothers George Gore, Bill Gore, Dave Gore, and Jim Voyles; and step children: Karen (P-Nut survives) Rigdon, Chris Lucas, and Michael Lucas.  Jeannie was a devoted member and song leader of the Rose of Sharon Full Gospel Temple for 43 years.  She was a very loved mother, grandma, and sister.  Jeannie was a blessing to anyone who met her.  Her love for The Lord shined like a ray of sunshine. Jeannie enjoyed spending time with her family and teaching her grandchildren about Jesus.
